The City of Rockville was awarded the Enhanced Mobility Grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and entered into an agreement with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) in 2017. The grant funding is for the design and construction of the missing sidewalk along the west side of Potomac Valley Road and improvements to 78 bus stops citywide. The total cost for both projects is $495,000, with $396,000 in federal funding and a $99,000 local match.

FTA has released the 2024 Certifications and Assurances (Attachment A). Subrecipients of FTA funds are required to sign the Certifications and Assurances annually and submit them to MWCOG.
