Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Mayor and Council adopt the attached Resolution approving the Employment Agreement for Tara Eggleston Stewart, the new Director of Recreation and Parks, subject to approval as to legal form by the City Attorney.
Discussion
Pursuant to Section 15-2. (5) for the Rockville City Code, the Mayor and Council is responsible for approving employment contracts for all non-merit Civil Service employees, including the Director of Recreation and Parks position.

Next Steps
Upon approval by the Mayor and Council, the City Manager will execute the employment agreement with the new Director of Recreation and Parks.
